Do You Really Need the Most Interesting Music Store in the Universe?
I am referring to the Adventurous Muse Online Store, and the answer is...
No!
Buyer behavior kind of tells the whole story and the message is crystal clear. I assure you that the Adventurous Muse and our several online stores (AdventurousMuse.com, Adventurous Muse by Don Rickert Design Storefront on Amazon.com and RickertMusical.Etsy.com) are NOT needed right now.
We will stay open for business, but you should not anticipate any great effort from our end to add new products, generate excitement etc. until the buying starts up again, as we will be in the meantime re-focusing our efforts on the parent business of the Adventurous Muse, Don Rickert Design, in an attempt to recoup our losses.
How You Can Be Sure that a Future Purchase will be Fulfilled
It will cost us a lot of money to keep the Adventurous Muse stores open (there are, besides the main store, storefronts on Amazon.com and Etsy.com). One of our primary expenses is the purchase processing services (called the Merchant Services gateway), which involves contracts and fees between us and the credit card companies so, if you make a purchase and it goes through, we will definitely get the order and will make good on our obligation to fulfill it.
We have some outstanding orders and will fulfill them as soon as the next purchase is made, thus providing the funds for us to pay for shipping...yeah, it has gotten to that point.
Once we start getting orders again (it has been over 2 months), we will fill them. Some items will take longer to fill than others. The following information will help you determine the wait time for various items:
